As we were leaving, we found this lovely pair of common seagulls perched serenely very near the parking lot overlooking the beach.

About the Natural Naturalist
This is my online nature journal. I live in central Texas. I'm not a photographer, and I'm certainly not pretending to be one. Most of my pictures are snapped simply with my iPhone, since that is what I conveniently have in my pocket during our outings, as I simultaneously attempt to juggle two children and a large dog. Perhaps someday I'll try to get all fancy-like with my picture taking, but for now, all I want is to document and identify the natural wonders around us.
